MAXIMIZE YOUR MTN BIS PLAN ON YOUR LAPTOP

In my last post...i discussed on how to download and use pdproxy with either MULTILINKS or MTN, today's post is about Using your blackberry desktop software with pdproxy so that you can maximize your blackberry subscription on your PC

Launch the BLACKBERRY DESKTOP MANAGER after installation and click to Tools in the Menu bar Section Select "Mobile Internet Settings" from the drop menu as shown below

You will see different Networks on the Profile Drop-down, click on the "Add Custom Profile" to define your own network settings because Nigeria's network are not on the list

Profile Name	MTN NG	AIRTEL NG	ETISALAT BIS	AIRTEL BIS
Username	Web	wap	etisalat	flat
Password	web	wap	etisalat	Flat
Access point	blackberry.net	blackberry.net	blackberry.net	blackberry.net
Add commands

Once you are done, hit the OK button to exit the small popup screen then Ok again to exit the Mobile Internet configuration dialog

Now Go back to Menu, then Tools and click start Mobile Internet

A warning will show informing you that you will be charged, Just ignore it if you've already subscribed to a BIS plan

Once you're succesfully connected  to the internet and you're ready to browse, at the buttom left of the software, you should see something that looks like the capture below

You can now connect PDPROXY with that Blackberry Software to enable browse the internet
